Programme Overview
The ADR licence is split into different classes depending on types of materials to be carried. The programme covers how to effectively deal with and/or identify gases, flammable liquids, toxics, flammable solids and other various substances. ADR Tankers provide the candidates with a good understanding on the specific additional provisions and regulations applicable to the use of tankers and tank containers.
The programme is delivered by experts with years of practical and teaching experience, and is JAUPT approved.
The Cost
The programme is funded by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority so businesses will have to pay a small employer contribution. It's free if your drivers are aged 19 or over, live in Greater Manchester, earn under £23,104 and have resided in the UK or EU for 3 years or more. If they earn above the threshold the employer may be asked for a contribution to the cost of their place on the programme.
